My vet friend told me neutering a male drastically reduces their chances of getting prostate cancer. So, unless you want to breed him, why not.

ya know its just not right lettin some stranger take away his pride and joy...duke probably wouldnt talk to me for a week I originally wanted to let Jack make some babies, but then after a while I just couldn't bring myself to take away his manhood. Oh well, he will be 10 in October and he's still jamming around.

I prefer females also. I think they aren't as hard headed.
the thing about baiting is, even a rookie hunter could have a 170 bird season if they bait holes
