Looking for a Remington 550-1 .22 rifle. I had one a while back that had sentimental value but it is long gone. Would like another to shoot with the kiddos. Let me know what you got! Thanks.

That is the first rifle I ever bought for myself. Grandad had one , Dad had one , I still have the one I bought around 1970.

The .22 of my youth! I once extirpated a stock tank of its' turtle population with mine.
They swole up and floated, the wind stacked them up on one bank, the smell was epic.
Father irate, I had to scoop all the dead turtles out of the water.
Mom noted that they were mostly head shots.
Good luck finding one!
