I had a customer come and tell me about a recent study of hogs in Texas that 60% of the 45 hogs gutted had deer bones a fur in
thier gut !!!!

Bow kill in Haskell. Shot this boar 3 times over two days. It was the last time that I used mechanicals for hogs too...  Same one...  Some more for Haskell...

Yeah O.S.U. did a hog eradication program on some land a former ag teacher had and they for over 60% of hogs had pieces of new born fawns in there stomach where they had come across them while eating and eaten the deer fawns alive.

When I'm on my own i run two strike dogs, one help dog and my catch dog. My strike dogs usually get rough enough to stop one and then back up and bay. They will help catch a big hog once the catch dog hits, but normally not on their own. my help dog will catch a little shoat on her own, and bay a bigger hog until the catch dog gets there, then lock on and help catch.
