Condolences sir…….having just been there recently myself, I know and feel your sorrow. It’s never easy saying goodbye but it is inevitable that we will have to do it at some point. While we can’t physically keep them with us forever the memories we shared will never leave us. Making. memories is what life is all about. May your family be at peace during this time.

RIP, sounds like you and the FIL got along! I’ll never have that experience, but it’s a beautiful thing! Never had a chance to meet my FIL as he removed himself from the living. Was an army vet, farmer of a couple hundred acres. We backed out and let her young brothers (2nd marriage)have it.
