I used grab a gun to make my most recent purchase. My first time using them , very smooth process. They are located in Coppell just north of DFW airport. You can either go in the store and pay or use the website and have it delivered to their store. They do not carry any guns in the store. On the few I priced they were the most competitive price. Gun came in 6 days later . I went to pick it up today and because of my LTC spent less than 10 minutes in the place. Nice people, best price and smooth transaction

I used to work there in the shipping dept. Definitely a great group of people. The owners were always on site and didn't act like they were above anyone.

As of late they have jumped up in price with everyone else. But there was once a time I basically stole a gun or two from them.

I stopped using them for my transfers when they went from $ 15 bucks (LTC) to $ 35 dollars
On more than one occasion of using them as a FFL transfer the firearm had damage that the sellers (both times) said wasn’t present when the items shipped.
I brought this up to management who said they’d look into it but they provided no resolution.
I haven’t been back in 2 years

I’ve gone around and around with Academy trying to get Academy to price match their prices. Far cheaper than everyone else around.

Haven’t purchased a firearm from them, but my buddy has.
I’ve purchased a lot of Ammo from them in the last year. Great company.

I’ve bought several and picked up at their shop. I don’t see that option available on their website anymore. They want me to choose and FFL.

My only complaint about Grabagun is when they changed their ammo policy. You were able to order online and pickup in person to avoid shipping fees. Now you must pay shipping. I live approximately 3 minutes from their location, I refuse to pay shipping.

Yup, bought several. Very easy to pick up. Save big $ if you pick up and avoid ffl Xfer and shipping.

I’ve bought several and picked up at their shop. I don’t see that option available on their website anymore. They want me to choose and FFL. They made a change to their website. In the past there was a box you could check to pick up at their store. Now, if you want to pick up at their store you have to enter the zip code where their store is located when it asks you to choose an FFL. When you enter their zip code their location will show as an option to pick up at their store. Kind of confusing, not sure why they changed? I have bought several guns from them. My only caution would be to be very certain that the gun you are buying is the gun you think you are buying. Many of the descriptions they list are just copied and pasted from their distributer’s website and sometimes they are inaccurate. I recently bought a Howa 1500 that was described as having a HS Precision stock, when in fact the stock that came with it was a Hogue (about a $300 difference in stock). GAG let me return the gun, but even after pointing out the discrepancy to them the inaccurate description remains on their website to this day. Otherwise, all transactions I’ve had with them have been very smooth. I’ll buy from them again.

Back when Grab a Gun had competitive online prices, you could show the ad to an Academy manager and they would match the price and give 5% off that. Grab a Gun hasn't been competitive in a while though. That's been my only use for them.
