Winchester model 70 classic sporter, push feed, 308, made in 1970. Cabelas pine ridge 3x9 scope…$$900

Remington 700 VLS, 308, brown laminated heavy stock, matte blue heavy barrel, Weaver classic v-series 4-16x42 AO scope. $1250

Not really looking for trades unless it’s something really out of the ordinary.

confused2 Same rifle that people were fighting about the other day, 5-6 pages of posts about the seller backing out or raising price or something, but mine has a beautiful heavy laminate target stock and no black fortip. And I have never backed out a deal made, a verbal handshake is the same as one in person. cheers

go figure

They were fighting about a VS Varmint Special, not a VLS Varmint Laminate Special, there is a big difference up

Ok, well other than just saying there is a BIG difference, why don’t you tell the audience what the difference is, other than the stock. You have the floor.

I own a VLS in 6mmRem so I’m not knocking them. The finish on the metal is the next big difference, the VS has nice glossy blue finish and VLS has a matte finish.

The fact is, they are both Remington 700 varmint series rifles, 1 is gloss with walnut stock, 1 is matte blue with laminated stock, and several other 700 in the varmint series with different stocks.
