I know I'd get skinned at a place like The Dallas Gold and Silver Exchange or pawn shop. It appraised for a little over $7,000. I have the GIA Appraisal I have no idea about the diamond market. Where would you focus to sell more max $$ ?? SPACE FOR RENT

Most places are willing to pay 50% of that value because it could take months or years to resell. Others will look at the just the precious metal and diamond values. See what input you get on here. Then take it to several pawn shops and locally owned Jewlers. See what they will give you. Appraisal is replacement value. You will be selling at wholesale unless you can find someone at the consumer level wanting the ring. To be determined

I've read in the metal detecting forums about some of them putting their finds on there along with a copy of the appraisal. Some of them claim to have gotten the appraised value. Keep in mind Ebay is taking around 12% for their cut so adjust your price to compensate for that.
