I have been using mine for a couple of years now and it seems to still be good as new. I love the things. Will never ever own another bow without one.

I don't have a good answer for that. I had one on my bow and really liked it, but my bow has 60lb max draw and I thought the biscuit was slowing down the velocity of my arrows just a bit. I took it off in an effort to gain some speed. But I definitely like having it when I was moving around in the tree stand. It kept the arrow in place and didn't keep falling off the rest like it does now.

Most people dont like them because the old ones rip your fletching. Put a drop of glue at each end of the fletching this will help them from coming off. It will last you a long time. They work better when broken in.
I shot one the last 2 years killed a 10 point,9 point,5 does,2 turkey, about 15 hogs. I chenged this year to the VaporTrail drop away.

I still have mine. I have the new one and it still bends, wrinkles and strips vanes. I like it...but.....I agree with the "when you get tired of fletching arrows" comment. I will probably switch to a drop away next year. After I kill a bigger buck with this one than somebody ^^^^^^^ does with their new drop away.

Yeah but my Bowtech flings arrows at amazing speeds so no glue is that strong.

What Gilbert said. I had 4" vanes and they were torn up pretty fast. Fletched with 2" blazers, drop of glue on both ends, and they look like new after 100 trips through the biscuit. That's not a lot of shots, but its a lot longer than the 4" lasted and like I said, they show no signs of wrinkling or coming off. Come on Sept. 30!

BB,
Which Bowtech do you have? My son and I both just bought Tomcats. He had a PSE before this and I had not shot a bow in about 20 yrs. Didn't take long to get back in the game, we shoot together about every other day, make for some good quality time together.
And yes, we can't wait.

Took me a minute to figure out what you were saying. So you are attaching them every 120 degrees at different distances from the end of the arrow, right? What is the stagger? 1/4", 1/2"? Who told you about this? Its obviously working for you. Do you see any impact on arrow flight? Thanks!

I think they are 1/4 inch. Put the first one in the same place the next one 1/4 up and next 1/4 above it. It seems to put more spin on the arrow..

I've been shooting mine for 2 years now, love the way it shoots but I'm very tired of brand new arrows with bent fletching. Switching to the drop away next year for sure.

I just had 2" Blazers put on my Beeman Carbon 400 ICS Hunters and shot it at AllStar here in Lewisville. Their Chrono is not working properly but DAMN! Loads of improvement over 4" vanes. My Bisquit hasn't failed me yet, I love it. I can't or won't take a chance on my arrow falling off the rest when it's game time. Fall aways are great if your never in a situation like that. To each his own.

There are plenty of fall aways that hold the arrow just as securely as the bisquit, couple that with the fact that unless you are very lucky you will never get true arrow flight out of the bisquit and the amount of velocity you lose it made my changover an easy choice. JMO

I have an old PSE that can put 50 arrows in a 3" group at 30 yards. That's true enough for me. I'm sticking with the whisker biscuit for the field.

At the advise of one more qualified than myself, I put the bisquit made for aluminum arrows on my bow to shoot with my carbons. I had my bow chrono'd at two different places and it is consistant at 281 fps, and hits right where I aim. I know that there are millions of opinions about which bows/arrows/broadheads/rest, that are the best. I still am convinced that what ever suits you is the best. Once you've gotten your cherry busted into archery, and have some idea what it feels like to have your bow set up properly, and is comfortable to you, everything else is opinions. If it works, don't fix it.

I have a friend that is always telling me about a new this or that, that I really must have. I tell him I'm doing just fine with what I have now, and I have lots of confidence in my set-up. Matthews/BowTech/PSE, fall-away, bisquit. In the right hands they are all good.

Having your bow set-up properly for you to be comfortable, and confident, and practice, practice practice. That's all that really matters isn't it? Even at that someone out there will choke this year, or get buck fever or spook the buck of a lifetime. Then will it matter what brand or type of bow you shoot or what rest you have or haven't got?
