BATF has FINALLY put together a new Eline process to speed up getting your Tax Stamp for your suppressors. Its supposed to start after Christmas. We'll see if the finally did something right for us.

Probably not. Last time they tried it they crashed the system.

Will those currently in line go into the new system, or will it just be for new applications going forward?

They have conveniently figured out an edible fix for form 4 applications to keep their work from home status through 2023
Who’s a thunk they could find a fix if it benefits them.

Will those currently in line go into the new system, or will it just be for new applications going forward? My understanding is that those already in the system will stay thr and only the new applications will go through the new system. I’ve been waiting for it to come online again since some goon at the ATF told me that but in reality who knows.

Me too. Decided to pick up another suppressor recently and have been waiting for it to come online first. It's a gamble - either I'm delaying myself a month or so by waiting (if it doesn't roll out as intended and I have to go the paper route) or I'll save myself 8 months if eform 4 rolls out and works as intended. Will be interesting to see what happens.

My dealer told me. last week to go ahead and fill out the paper app but that they would hold it for the system to come online and then they would apply electronically. So….it sounds like if you forms were already submitted via paper you get stuck in the paper system. Can’t switch midstream over to electronic.

Being a first time buyer (last week), silencer shop told me they would e-file my application. Does this approach reflect the new process?

i submitted 7 form 4's in November.... Sure wish the E-forms would have been up at that time!!

Last time it worked, before Silencer Shop crashed it, I got a form 4 back in 21 days and a form 1 back in 14.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.
