They will accept them ONLY if an FFL is involved on one end or the other.

Yep, I tried one time at fed ex, even pulled it up on my phone to show the lady. It was going to a ffl. She refused , even asked her manager and they said they wasn’t sure , so for now it was no. So I went to ups store, same story. I ended up getting my ffl to ship it. I’ve later found out, ups will ship, but you have to go to an actual ups hub, and not a ups franchise. Nowadays though, you can just use shipmyguns, and it’s a lot easier

Just do FFL to FFL. And work out who pays what. Too easy. You could ship to yourself via usps or ups. I would not even think about fedex.

UPS will do it... but you have to ship from hub can't send from local UPS stores
& i agree w/ Bill ... dont send via Fedex. i had a firearm ship via fedex & driver tried to steal it. police & ATF got involved. it was found in truck behind drivers seat. he got fired, then arrested

Last year I had a 1911 coming to my ffl, ups sent me a text saying it was delivered, I couldn’t see how since my ffl was closed that day. I jumped in the truck and flew down to gun shop , which is only 5 miles away, thinking the driver must have left my 1600.00 gun at the door. Nope, no package.. now I’m freaking out, so as I’m pulling back out onto highway , I see a ups truck and follow him. Soon as he stopped I jumped out and asked if he delivered my package? He said, yeah I gave it to a miguel in Cracker Barrel parking lot . I said you have got to be kidding me.. you handed a 1600.00 package to a Miguel that might not even be a citizen?? Thankfully, the guy had signed and left his phone number. I called right then and he said come get it, I’m just down the road. Come to find out, he had also been waiting for a gun to be delivered at the gun shop, and it had gotten lost for 2 weeks in transit.. I still ain’t sure how he managed to get ups driver to meet him in a Cracker Barrel parking lot. And still can’t believe the driver just handed him 2 guns. 1 of which was mine!

I have shipped a half dozen or more firearms from a FedEx store this year and only 3-4 went to FFL's Never a problem. Did ship some to Florida thru a local gun shop to a FFL. Both were expensive but guns got there safe & sound.

Not suggesting such a thing, but I have heard putting it in a generic box and labeling "ATV Parts" works for pistols or smaller components.

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

The exception being that you can legally ship guns to yourself without an FFL being involved at either end. Marc

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.
