"Original EM-GE Gerstenberger & Co, Mod 6 Patent"

Picked it up from the family of the elderly neighbor who is moving to care away from home for good. Interesting little guy with a 28 (guessing) pound trigger. Fires 6mm (.22) crimped blanks. Just ordered some online. Has a severely rifled barrel. Could be for looks or I have read online you can set off various styles of 7mm canisters in the barrel using the 6mm blanks.

Anyone know about these? No numbers to date it and computer machine tells me they started making them in Germany at the end of WWII. It looks old but it could be from 1948 or 1978.

Pass the gravy.

I feel like I've seen something like this on Forgotten Weapons. I think they were used as parlor guns, living room target shooting. Definitely a cool find.
