Looking for one of these for my wife. Would like to keep it around 500 so if she quits after 2 hunts I’m not out of a ton on money lol

I’ve got a Smith & Wesson model 1500 in 270 available if you are still looking. It was made for S&W by Howa. Really good shooter but it’s the only 270 I have and don’t really want to get dies for reloading. Let me know if you are interested and I can send some pics.

You might want to lean towards the 7mm-08 then, for the modest recoil. It will do anything the 270 will do within 300 yards.

Less chance your Wife would find shooting a rifle unpleasant because of recoil. There is a noticeable difference in the two.

I have a Browning abolt 3 270. $500 for the gun or $700 gun and scope
