I know a lot of people who participate on this forum work on their own firearms so I wanted to pass on my experience with a company called Right to bear.com. They already had my vote just based on their name!
I had made a couple of purchases from them and everything was fine, Then I accidentally bought an item that would not work on my rifle and so needed to return it. The item was sealed in plastic with no way to get it out without damaging the wrapping. The company charges a 15% restocking fee and I had no problem with that. The problem is that if you alter the packaging in the slightest they will not accept it.
This is not meant as a company bashing, just a warning. Be 100% positive that anything you order from them is exactly what you need/want. Personally I will be taking my business to companies who are little more reasonable.

That's not uncommon. They can't resell it if you wreck the package so why would they take it back? They sell cheap AR parts (I've used them before many times) so they must keep cost down.
Pass the gravy.

That stinks. Amazon takes anything back...so does Costco. If these small companies don't get their policies to match, I don't see how they can expect customers to choose them.

That's because Amazon and Costco don't care. They force the manufacture to take back ALL returns regardless of condition so it doesn't effect their bottom line. The little guy doesn't have that kind of clout.

I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

I have purchased new items from other small companies where the outside packaging had obviously been opened. I check to see that the item had not been used and there is no problem. I guess I'm not one to worry about the pretty vacuum sealed packaging and can use a little common sense as to whether an item has been used before or not.

They take it back so a guy doesn’t make a post on this forum about them. It’s called customer service.

Common sense rules and Amazon doesn’t care about the little guys bottom line,,,, I’ve got a ton of parts on the shelves where I didn’t use my common sense and take the time to order the right stuff, it happens to everyone if you order enough stuff. Toss it in the closet and hopefully remember your mistakes next time.

Right to Bear has the best prices many times so it's worth the gamble. Not hard at all to see there is no free lunch...can't have your cake and eat it too.
Pass the gravy.
