Just how bad is it?

One of the tires on the wifes ride has a slow leak so Saturday we went to Sams to shop, get gas and have them take a look at it..
All of the Service Bays were empty and there two service employees there, one wandering around aimlessly.

I ask him if they have a minute to look at a tire and he says they are really busy and are working on appointment only basis?
I nicely reply that there are no cars in the service bay's and if he could just take a quick look at it to see if there is a nail or ? in it and is it something they can patch?

He responded with the bays were all full a minute ago and they just cleared those cars out
He goes into a long winded explanation of what is repairable yada yada yada, so I nicely interrupt him and ask if he can at least take a look at it while we are inside shopping he said yes.

Well when we came back about 20 minutes later all of the Bays are still empty, he said it is a nail and they can repair it, but we need to go up front and make an appointment.
It is Saturday around 11:00 and the other guy at the register says the first available appointment is Monday at 1:00 pm.

Hell they could have patched it in the 20 minutes we were in the store!

Which is why I go to my local guy or Discount Tire.

Reasons to not do that which is right are tiresome.

My thought as well. I always get good service with them.

Last week I found a store that had the 4 tires I needed, which were proving impossible to find 4 at the same place. I called as soon as they opened and asked if they could be installed today, to which he replied earliest we can install them is November 12. He stated I could buy them and have them installed somewhere else, but he would take off the $27 per tire installation cost.

Only place in town.

I don't have time to go to a tire shop for a nail in the tire, I patch it myself. Silly to waste you time at the tire shop for a easy repair

Actually the Mexican Tire shops are the best and cheapest, and many are open 24/7 you just open pull up and blow you horn and pronto service, Best prices in town

Last time I went to one of those they charged $15 for a patch and put the wheel back on the trailer backwards. They are an absolute last resort for me

I use Sam's for my tire needs.
I've never had that kind of terrible service, but I have not tried in quite a while.

I hope the Sam's near me does better the next day I drive up.

I have a harbor freight aluminum floor jack and Milwaukee 18V Impact Wrench, I can get a tire off a vehicle pretty fast, Some times I can let enough air out of the tire and plug it without removing the tire.

Yuup along with a knife gun extra ammo and a roll of TP & DT.

Bad customer service at Walmart. Gthoh. Next you’ll tell me the guy at McDonald’s did not say have a great day!

My wife recently had not one, but two tires with slow leaks. I didn't have 3 hours to drop her Expedition off at Discount, so I found the closest Mexican tire shop just a couple blocks away. $20 and 15 minutes later, both leaks were plugged and I was on my way home. I got my ranch truck tires at Costco, but I would never even consider trying to go there to get a plug. It's just not convenient at all.

Sorry Stub, you went to Sam's so that is on you and you are old enough to know better.
