One from the 70’s won’t be pre-64, you need one built before 1964 to be pre-64. That’s what I would want as well.

One from the 70’s won’t be pre-64, you need one built before 1964 to be pre-64. That’s what I would want as well. Well aware of what pre 64 is... The post implies that if a pre 64 isnt available, then i would settle for a model 94 made in the 1970's

Right on. One time I saw a guy here looking for pre 64 Marlin. Haha. WTH? It’s either pre 83 or 84 for non-safety or pre 2007ish for Remlin.
I get not everyone has the best intel but google is your friend.
