Can anyone tell me what zebra tastes like? Is it similar to any other game meats ? Is it even edible? May have an opportunity to shoot one next month. Don’t want to shoot just for the mount

The few times I’ve had it- it was great! It’s a lot like beef, it was marbled like it too.

I always enjoyed Zebra meat when I was in South Africa. Very mild meat.

Zebra is good eating, removal of the fat is key. They are one of those animals that "pick up their flavour" in what they eat.

Check with the meat processor you intend to use; they may have some experience with zebra.
