Got a guy bringing a 1/2 cord of post oak for $100. Split, seasoned and stacked in back yard on rack.
What are y’all paying?

Labor, got plenty of mesquite and oak on the ranch. Cut about 1/2 cord back in February and March.

I have some I'd let go a lot cheaper than that.
Im located near Temple. If you need any firewood, PM me.
Most of it is elm but it burns good in the fireplace!

I appreciate the offer, but I’ll let the young bucks do the cutting, splitting and stacking.
Too many other projects going on right now. Thanks

Not a dime. I’ve got plenty of wood on the property. Even if I didn’t, I’d scrounge it up somewhere for free.

$100 is a fair price for the amount of work he is doing and delivered

I have about 8 cords split and stacked all together at 2 of my places.
If you can get it delivered and stacked for $100/cord that’s a good deal, if it’s a true 1/2 cord.
There’s no way I would do it for that price, it’s just too much work and I am getting older.

If you guys know a good north Dallas source, post up or send me a PM. I like short logs as well. Lots of the wood I buy I end of cutting the logs in half, I'm getting too old for that crap.

$100 sounds like a good deal. Chickenman knows a couple of boys that'll do it for $1.

I paid $175 for a Rick of split, delivered and stacked mesquite

And thought that was pretty good

I actually tipped him a $20 because he was on time, so $195 total

It has been 2 years since I bought it but I paid $225 for a full cord ( 2 X 4 X16 ) of seasoned mesquite, split, delivered 30 miles away and stacked. This person sold oak for the same price. I would say you got a good deal.

I sure would like some mesquite, don’t even care if it’s cut or split. I’ll do that on my own.

Anybody wants mesquite, come see me and bring your own chainsaw. Better yet, my neighbor will probably give you some that’s already cut, but not split.

As soon as the doc cuts me loose to start ‘exerting’ myself again (next Wednesday, I hope) I have mucho oak to cut up and split. I’m actually excited about working.

I have been trying to convince my brother to bring a firewood guy in to clean up all of the wood from the ice storm. He just does not want to deal with someone on his property. I have all I need and also. stocked up the neighbor. I talked to a guy that was going to Arkansas to get wood. I would think there is plenty of wood in central Texas.

My buddy does wood in north texas. It's always good wood. Usually Post Oak, Hickory or Pecan. He'll be more expensive than $100, but it is North Dallas. It'll probably cost him $100 in toll fees just to deliver it. Lol.
