I just bought a Moultrie Infared 4.0 megapixel at Academy for 189.00, it came with a free 1gig memory card too, in my opinion, one of the better ones for the money, it takes really good photos, I've posted some in the photo section if you want to check them out.

The ScoutGuard, hands down the best one I have found. I had 3 Moultries and they all broke within a year and send them back multiple times.

The ScoutGuard batteries last a long time (months on AA), fast trigger, great pictures and videos.

I had to send my first scottguard back, and they made me pay shipping both ways. The new one is working great, but I don't like that you can't do anything to the camera without the remote. I wish it at least had a battery indicator on it.

The buckeye is the best, but is more than 200 dollars.

We replaced all of ours with ScoutGuards. Great pics/video, long battery life, runs on AA batteries, & compact size.

I haven't seen the scoutguards yet. I have used a cuddleback before and it worked pretty well. Expensive though.

Not sure which is the best, but at this point for me I cannot recommend the Moultrie Gamespy I40.

Sure, they have great customer support, but you shouldn't have to keep sending them back in my opinion.

When I buy something I expect it to work for a reasonable amount of time and not have to wonder if it is going to be working or not when I go to check the pictures.

Having to use the remote is a small drawback and no battery indicator, but it is a great little camera.

I did have one problem last month. I bought 4 PNY sd cards and the batteries only lasted 3 days and no pics. After 2 sets of batteries, I went back to the Sandisk cards and it work perfect.

I got the camera last December and the batteries lasted until April.

I have had a Moultrie ($100 from Wally World) for over 18 months and it has worked good for me. One problem is that it eats up batteries pretty quick. We had 11 inches of rain 2 weeks ago and the display went out on it and when I called Moultrie they said sorry nothing could be done about it. I was not expecting them to repair it for free but the Camera was not designed to be worked on, so the display could not be repaired. The camera is still working but you can't tell what is happening-is it on or off, how many pictures taken, battery condition or anything else. Needless to say Moultrie will not get anymore of my money.

I just bought the new Bushnell Trophy cam ($199) recently. So far I love it, it has the widest capture area of any cam I've used. Great pics as well at all hours.

Easy as heck to program too, which a person needs if their like me!
