Bakflip MX4 seems to have excellent reviews.
I am still looking for the perfect apron, one with reinforced knee areas would be perfect.

Bakflip MX4 seems to have excellent reviews. You have your answer already. Look on Craigslist or wherever and get a big discount on a used one.

Bakflip MX4 seems to have excellent reviews. That's what I have and I like it.

Not a fan, I’d rather have camper shell with flip up side windows
.only problem with bakflip is the aluminum skinned ones are fragile. My wife found a way to put 6 holes in hers, trying to get ice off so she could open

MX4 is a good one. Not sure how many you have but if it's not the one piece over the rail it's going to leak some...some are a LOT better than others and I think adjustment can play a big roll in that.

I have an Undercover Ultra Flex, no issues.
Just to make sure that it is done thoroughly, I go both ways.

I had a Bakflip MX4 on my last truck now I have the Bakflip Revolver. I prefer the Revolver to the MX4 because I hated when it was flipped all the way up it blocked your view out the back window.

Some of our office personnel use these on their units. The ones that never leave the concrete do well, the guys that go out in the field some have fair results. Dust getting in seems to be the main complaint.

Sounds like you need to skip the kiddie truck covers and get a Diamondback HD with a couple quads on top.

I've owned both the Ultra Flex and the BakFlip. I like the Ultra Flex a bit better, but both are good. The fit and finish is better on the Ultra Flex and I like the way it locks in the up position at the cab better.
I have the Revolver on my current truck. I got it so I could see the gooseneck ball with the camera but wish I had gone back to the Ultra Flex.
Retrax is top notch as well but what I don't like is that it's a separate lock with a key, at least on the manual ones. My tailgate already locks with the truck, so I don't want to have to have to pull my keys out just for that. Not sure now the electric one posted above works.
Have also heard that with the canister ones, if something slides in the bed and dents it, bed cover won't retract. Never seen it in person, but that's always mentioned as a downside on that type.

Tailgate closed and locked, bedcover has to be locked or it can be rolled up and you can get access to the bed with the tailgate up and locked. All the other ones mentioned can only be opened from inside once the tailgate is opened. The electric one may very well not need a key, I've never been around one of those. My buddy puts a manual version on every truck he buys, and on average that's about 2 trucks every 3 years. Really good covers, I just don't like that key aspect of them.

Vote for the BakFlip here. The most versatile cover I've ever had.

Makes sense, especially now that I think about, all the complainers were the chicks that claim to be salesladies.
