In the past couple of weeks, our local ISD has sent out two or three back to school emails about masks and COVID precautions. As of last night, we were still mask optional with masks strongly recommended. Reading the emails, it almost It seems like they are trying to work up the courage to try a mask mandate. The biggest complaint I've seen in the emails is that they really wanted the TEA / Texas Legislature to fund remote learning again. So the mask drama may be a backdoor way to get remote learning funded for another year.

Mine gave the option this week to do remote learning, you have to go through an application process. I am not sure where the funding will come from, logistics, etc. not my problem to figure out.

We're losing Ft Worth fast. That new mayor is a wolf in sheep's clothing.

I think when fauci pontificated that masks don't work is when that excuse for mandating them ran off the rails for good...it's never been about the virtues of masks to our ruling class - it's about controlling everything, silencing dissent, and rigging more elections...

I will not comply. My wife never complied. Its odd because shes a pretty meek kind woman with more brass than most the men I see in town.

Ours too. My opinion is voluntary masks is the option that makes the most sense. Just like I want the freedom not to wear a mask without any grief, I don’t get why so many on here belittle those that choose to wear a mask. It should cut both ways if we are truly a free country.

It should. The problem that the anti-maskers have with maskers is their demanding of others to do the same. If they’d wear their mask and STFU, then there would be no argument.

The ones on television are almost 100% incorrectly wearing the mask. It's obvious it is about their compliance, not their health.

I like where they show up on tv all woke in a mask and then rip it off as soon as they think nobody's looking that gives a flip about hypocrisy and general fraudulence...

I just went to the County Court House to have some papers recorded. The County Sheriff said that I did not have to wear a mask, run by the County.

I figure the media and the courts will run cover for a national mandate of some kind in order to give all the commies in charge free cover to claim they have no choice but to comply...
