I love it when our tax dollars go to sue someone who uses our tax dollars to defend themselves.

Hinojosa said he is willing to pay whatever fines the district incurs out of his own pocket if it helps safe at least one person's life.

Either the fines aren't high enough, or Hinojosa makes far too much money as a public employee.

My wifes employer has again made masks mandatory.

Funny how those libs are never in favor of self defense with firearms even though it might save one person’s life.

Let me add this to the mask argument. Personally, I doubt that masks are all that effective but our grandkids wore them in school all last year and none of them missed a single day because of illness. I believe the fact that the school district super cleaned the schools every night did more to stop the spread of colds and flu, etc. than the wearing of masks did. I guess what I'm saying is (IMO) something good came from the mask mandate.

Governor Abbot has said before that decisions are best made at the local level. The Fed's shouldn't tell the States what to do, just like the State shouldn't tell...oh, wait...that doesn't apply when he is making the rules.

I guess the Governor will issue a daily fine and DISD HMFIC will pay out of HIS pocket.

I'm sure some lefty celeb or politician will pay his fines.

Pretty sure every Texas ISD gets at least part of their funding from the state. Abbott could show he has some balls if he would withhold funding until they comply.
