Only an idiot would think a snake is a pet. (Backs away very slowly) I know one and he’s smarter’n most of us.

For the most part I have nothing against snakes, use to catch them when I was a lot younger. What I remember about them is they stink and the stink does not wash off very easily and they bite.
Have never seen one sit, fetch, bark, shake hands and so on....
Friend of mine way back when had a pet Python, the only thing cool about it was when it was time to feed it, watching it grab the mouse was pretty cool other than that I do not get it?

He didn't want any part of that snake. Did you see how bad she was bleeding? Snake thought her hand was a meal. Snake was hungry and more than likely had food scent on her hands, she should have been more careful. It happened to me before I was educated. Burmese Python grabbed 3 of my fingers but released as soon as she realized it was a mistake. I bled all over the place too lol. Sharp teeth. I also had a boa constrictor that got sick and started acting funny. Told my little brother to leave her alone, she's not acting right. He of course didn't listen and took her out, put her around his neck. She bit him in the throat and wouldn't release. He started bleeding pretty good. I grabbed a kitchen knife and told him to hold still so I could cut her head off. He freaked the f out when that knife got close to him. Damn kid was jumping and screaming & bleeding down his chest, I had to catch my breath from laughing so hard. I told you.....  I'll take a non venomous snake bite over a dog bite any day. Both my little brother and my youngest daughter (& me) wear scars from dog bites. One of the hardest things I've ever done in this life was to use constraint and not shoot my brother's dog in front of him after that dog bit my little girl in the face/head. Screaming and bleeding she was. There were 3 of us that night that were at fault for what happened, that's why I didn't pull the trigger. Snake or dog, I trust neither around my kids but that doesn't mean that I hate them.
