Ok, so I have been working with Great Outdoor Ministries, which is a org that takes fatherless kids to the outdoors for some hunting and fishing. Well anyways this is the idea we have come up with, a hog hunting contest at my day leased ranch in Palestine. The contest will allow hunters or teams of up to 3 to hunt specific sections within the land. All the sections will be randomly drawn on the first day of the hunt. Ken who runs Great Outdoor Ministries will be providing BBQ to all of the hunters. This contest will we a two day deal, a Saturday and Sunday. The contest is for the biggest hog and the pricing goes like this $100 for one hunter, or $175 for a team of 2-3 hunters. Bow hunters get a extra 75 pounds added to their final wieght. There is a $25 kill fee for each hog killed, which helps us compensate the landowner for the usage of the property. Prizes for the hunter or team with the biggest hog will be a Trophy Ram hunt in Jacksboro, or Another Hog hunt but for 3 people on the any weekend available, or a new Tripod stand.
