Willie Nelson was the first. Tom Petty was the first I paid for, Damn the torpedos tour. There was more weed smoke at Willies concert.

Iron Maiden with WASP as the opening act in 1985. My buddy and I walked to Town East mall to my tickets at the Ticket Master that was in Sears it was a cold day and when we called my parents to come pick us up they were not happy seeing that business had closed due to the ice on the roads. we still got to go though.

Austin Aqua Festival. Buy your Skipper Pin and you could go to all the events.
They had multiple stages and great bands.
The only bad experience I had was when Roy Orbison played one set and left. He hated outdoor venues and did not know it was outdoors until he arrived.

We went several times in the mid 80’s. Have some framed prints in the attic. Skipper pins are stashed somewhere around here.
