All the college baseball games that I've watched over the last several months on TV had play-by-play commentators who were working remotely. And to be honest, I don't see where it's taken anything away from the game. I could see where current technology can offer the same monitors and other communications they would otherwise have in the press box. IMO, it's one of those situations where people get forced to work outside the box and they find something of great value they would have otherwise missed.

Same with the meteorologist in my area. No problems for me.

On second thought, I would probably miss the cute babes offering their reports from the sidelines. But then, no reason not to have them and remote commentators.

This announcer is remote. He just show a clip of cute babes. You really can have your cake an eat it.

Who gives a rats rear end? I watch the game, I don't listen to the crap.

When this virus BS is over I think they'll go back to the way it's always been. There's been a couple of times the play by play guy was a little late with the call because he wasn't actually at the game.

Who cares. Turn off the idiot box & go outside.
