 How do I get red of Moles in my yard.

I have...Had....a great lawn but moles have moved in and now they are ruining it. Very sandy soil.
Any suggestions?

Its probably just 1. Theyre highly territorial. Hook up your tailpipe to it and watch for it with a shotgun.

Get some castor beans and put a couple where they are trenching.

I have...Had....a great lawn but moles have moved in and now they are ruining it. Very sandy soil.
Any suggestions? Get a Weiner Dog. I live in the sand, and am always fighting pocket gophers and moles. I trap a lot of gophers (or pay the kids to), moles were always harder for me to kill until I got a pair of miniature Weiner Dogs. Yes they'll cut a trench getting after them but they'll get them, just carry a shovel with you LOL.

I know a fella that rigged up a piece of long tubing, a shut off valve, and a striker on the end of it. He'd hook it and a hose to a propane tank and run that tube down into the ground. He'd fill the hole up and light er up and do like that video posted above. That video looks a little more sophisticated than his set up haha

Use a pesticide that kills grub worms, worked for me.

light a small mound of sulfur in the entrance at each hole. The toxic sulfur dioxide fumes settle in the burrows and does them in. Adding stump remover (potassium nitrate) will speed up the burn rate. A commercial version is available at garden centers. several applications may be required.

That's worked for me. The key is making sure you poke a hole that reaches the tunnel, which can be three or four inches down. Also, moles seem to be much like fire ants in that it takes your neighbors controlling them as well to get good results. Otherwise, they just keep moving in from your neighbor's property.

Gophers eat roots and plants, moles eat insects Moles you need to get rid of the insects and then proceed with traps Grub killer that works below- Also order tempo and spray your deer blinds and you won't have black widow/spider issues https://www.domyown.com/merit-05-insecticide-granules-p-301.html
