My 13 year old has been turkey hunting for a few years now and is eat up with it. We hunt mostly public lands through draws/special hunts in various states. He is one bird shy of his grand slam. All he needs is a Rio. We will be hunting some public land in NM in a couple weeks but I am trying to increase the odds a bit. If anyone has a lead on any public land that holds a decent amount of birds within 8 hours of east Texas, please let me know. If anyone has a lease or offers hunts, at a reasonable price, I would be up for that too.
