Grayson County...Corn fields went to heck, they are all dead & burned up..... I hope the farmer will go ahead and cut or turn it under before opening day......  Not worth saving.

you are lucky to have sunflowers! The 2 spots I usually go with sunflowers are dead grass this year. This 09 drought was insane.

The farm in Williamson county - outlook dismal tanks have been dry since last July Dove lease in Travis County (actually going to pay for it this morning) - Outlook fantastic went to look at it Wednesday and the skies were grey with birds  Mills county ranch - Outlook will hunt there as I ready for deer season not much of any flight patterns.

Hi guys- I am new to the forum. My leases and sources have dried up and gone in the last three or four years. The fellow that introduced me to hunting 15 years ago called me up to see what I could find. He is approaching 70 and doesn't get out much anymore. I would love to take him out a couple of times and return the favor from so many years ago.
We are safe and considerate hunters.
Can any of you guys point me in the right direction to a day lease that might actually have some birds on it? Hopefully closer to the Collin/Denton county area than further. We used to hunt out of Coleman, Richland Springs, and further west. We are not afraid to drive!
