Anyone reloaded for a M48 Nosler custom long range on 28 nosler platform?
Spoke to Berger today to get the load for the 180 VLD Elite Hunter and he said it probably wouldn't work in the nosler rifle as the throat would be too short.
Just want to know others experience in reloading for this rifle.
Don't want to have to have throat extended or redo the stock to accept the longer COAL, and was thinking about just seating the bullet until it would fit the magazine box without overcompressing the powder charge if possible.

Determine what the actual maximum is with the bullet you want to shoot.
Use a Hornady OAL gauge and it will tell your max length possible.

Id start with your rifle, assuming you want a repeater, max mag length is as long as they can be. Get started.
