Plug the model# into searspartsdirect.com and it will give you the parts breakdown of your appliance.

Watch YouTube and you can fix anything. This is very true. Appliances are surprisingly simple. Very few parts.

If it'll flash a code, you can look it up and probably buy the part on Amazon. Did mine about 3 years ago.

Our 10yo Samsung front load washer went out a couple months ago. YouTube had a couple of different diagnoses, neither really cheap fixes. We just bought a new top load on sale at Lowes. Like it better. Washer still sitting in the garage for when I might take a little better look. Probably end up selling on CL.

Front load not worth fixing IMO. I did the same as Jimbo.

Gotta be careful Bill some of them new washers don't have the old school agitators. Mechanical timers have also been replaced with expensive logic boards that leave the owner fewer operating choices. I can think of nothing that has been more over-engineered than washing machines. My old Maytag still lets me decide how much water I want in the tub at the simple push of a button.

A Speed Queen Commercial pair is today’s Maytag. Washer has agitator and water level adjustment. They’re quiet too.

Wish we still had our old whirlpool. Almost 22 years it made it. Only replaced the agitator dogs 1 time. Nothing else
