What can you tell me about it? Just starting to look around and want to replace the suburban.

We’ve got the longer Expedition. I’m not sure if that’s the same as the Max.

That Ecoboost will flat move that big SUV. The suspension is very smooth. I thought I would be disappointed going from a Land Cruiser to an Expedition, but I wasn’t, really. We’ve had to replace one turbo and a sensor of some kind. It’s definitely not Toyota reliable, but it hasn’t been too bad.

We test drove the regular expedition (not the max) the other day and I was pretty impressed. It has the 3.5 ecoboost engine that I always liked on my F150’s, and pushes that big suv to 60 in under 6 seconds. Pretty quick considering how big it is. There was a 2020 still on the lot and I was thinking they might really want to get aggressive on the price since the 2021’s were already out. We ended up about $3k apart so we said no thank you. Since then they have called and texted me multiple times wanting to know what it will take.

I will also add this... The 2021 F-150’s have an incredible new interior with a big screen up on the dash. If the 2021 expedition would have had that interior we would have pulled the trigger on a new one. Think I’m gonna wait a year and see if they add it to the expeditions. Real nice vehicle though!

We have a 2017 with 60k on the 3.5 eco boost. Not one issue to complain about, and it gets 20mpg on the highway. Not the MAX version, or what they used to call the EL.

We have the Navigator L which is just like the Expedition Max. My wife’s car and kid hauler, and I enjoy driving it every time I can. Same engine/tune as the Raptor. Doesn’t sip gas, but a much better purchase than the Yukon we had before.

Don’t have the max but we love our expedition. Ours has a couple minor electrical glitches (mirrors jumping when changing driver presets) but other than that it’s fantastic.

Wife has a 2020 MAX Limited Stealth Edition. I just drove it to the ranch and back so she could work and it was a pleasure to drive. Cruise control at 85 most of the way. It has 8k miles and averages a little over 18mpg, averaged over 19mpg on the 700 mile trip. That thing will move and is quiet. I keep it in Sport mode so the engine won't cut off when I stop. Plenty of room for us, the kids and dog on a long trip plus a 100 quart ice chest, 2 rifle cases and a 4 travel bags.

My wife has the 2019 Expedition Limited Stealth edition. She had driven Tahoes and Suburbans for 16 years prior to choosing the Expedition. It was night and day switching over from a Suburban. Such a better vehicle in all aspects. She did lose some of that rear cargo space, but for family road trips, we just use a cargo carrier. We travel 3 times per year to Colorado and the way better MPG, better handling, and faster speed has resulted in me cutting over an hour off of our drive time each way.

I'm more interested to hear and see more on the 2021 suburbans with the baby duramax when it comes out.

Don't know but just pulled the plug over the phone on a 2020 Expedition for Wifey.We will see. After a little haggling La Grange Ford knocked $12,261 off sticker. Pick it up tomorrow. .
