Think somebody started a previous similar thread. I didn’t pay too much attention to it. Don’t think anybody on this forum is too unfortunate, certainly not me. In a seemingly insignificant way, my attention was refocused.

I leave early for work, it’s dark. I get home from work it’s dark. Coming and going I cut through a strip center parking lot to avoid a long light at an intersection. Last week I spot a shady character in the back near the dumpsters, I slow and come to a stop so that he knows he is busted. I’m not looking for trouble and neither is he. Just kind of slides off and leaves the area. No harm no foul. Early this morning, on my pass my headlights pan across the dumpsters behind the fence. Same dude. I thought he was dumpster diving or hiding behind the dumpster. No he was not. Just trying to make his home as comfortable as possible on a cold morning. Don’t know the circumstances and probably don’t want to. I packed a care box with a hoodie, warms socks, various other clothing items and some can goods. I will drop this late tonight after all is quiet for an unfortunate soul that is ALONE FOR CHRISTMAS.

I mean no disrespect, and I think it's great you're doing that...but I hope those canned goods are pull top, or that you also packed a can opener...
