I was at a party (with over 10 peope) this past weekend for my wife's best friend. I was discussing why I don't wear a mask, and this pompous maskhole(who wasn't wearing a mask) tells me that I'm an idiot and an a****** for not wearing a mask in public, and then storms off.

Anyone else have experiences with these enlightened folks?

I had one hung on my ear but never put it on at the grocery store. Twins needed milk.

Hudspawn II was remarking about how she jumped on someone for not wearing a mask in Home Depot. I would not have done this and urged her to just avoid that issue and those people if she felt uncomfortable with someone choosing to not wear a mask. I guess she still feels invincible. Don't know where she got it from.

I'm pretty inconsistent. Always forgetting it. I think it's because I go to public places as little as possible anyway.

If the sign on the business says I must wear a mask, I wear a mask. It's not the owner's fault that we have the policy and I see no need to force some employee to tell me to put one on. Why be that guy?

Was standing OUTSIDE of HEB talking to a friend. He had a mask on... I didn’t.
An old blue hair walked up and started reaming me a new one for not having a mask on. I laughed...then my bud took his off and says....ok lady I know you wanna see my perty piehole also so here ya go. She bowed up and let loose a string of cuss words that woulda made a sailor blush while me and bud are cracking up.

I know . I call them "Maskers". Especially idiotic are the Maskers out walking their dogs or driving around with a mask on and they are the only ones in the car.

But, they really don't seem to care. I have had exactly 2 confrontations since March. Otherwise, they just don't ask. The majority of the time, the maskholes are random people that you run into. Look, I don't make fun of you, or come yell at you and berate you for your decision to wear a mask. If you want to wear a mask, then, that is your choice to do so. And I commend you for making up your own mind and making a decision that works for you. All I ask is that you give me the same courtesy for my decision. If you are not going to do that. Then F- you.

Except for the screaming woman out side the El Charro restaurant, I haven’t had any mask discussions with anyone. It may matter that I live in the country instead of Houston, where we used to live. The woman at the restaurant, when she encountered the wife and I leaving the place and pulling down our masks, started screaming (yes, screaming) “Mask, mask, mask”. That’s all she said as she rapidly backed away. She really looked scared. Not faking it.

I will wear a mask for a short time if absolutely necessary, like at the doctor’s office or where signs are posted. I will not wear a mask for any extended period, like a commercial airline or airport.

Accidently walked into Buc-ee's without one...dang! 3 or 4 employees screamed MASK! I left and can go up the road to the next stop. There is a better way to point out you need a mask than to instruct your employees to scream at a customer.

I have a real issue breathing through them and they fog my glasses no matter what I do.
I wear one where it's required, like a restaurant - going in - not so much coming out (too late to refuse me service then).

I ordered one yesterday online that is made of mesh. It looks like a standard Wu Flu black mask but it's mesh, so you can breathe.

I'm sick of all of it.
