Im curious how many large rifle and large rifle magnum the average shooter loads in a year?

I’d say about 1000 to 1500 max for me.

I'm a competitive shooter, and shoot 12-15k centerfire rounds out of a bolt gun a year; most all my buddies & teammates do the same.

Before I got into doing this competitively, maybe 1000,2000 a year?

Im guessing 500 large rifle and 500 large rifle magnum per year.

Twice a month with 20 of each per trip.

If I'm shooting Heavy in 3 gun (308) it's not hard to burn 150 rounds at a club match. If I'm not shooting much heavy, maybe 500 a year.... maybe.

If I'm healthy and shooting maybe 500-700 Large Rifle. same with Small Rifle. I won't hoard but would buy a 1000 in a heartbeat.

I just hunt so not very many. I’ve got enough to last a long time.

500 large rifle, maybe a bit more in a year. I shoot many times that in small and large pistol primers in a year. I target shoot with buddies nearly every weekend. We all reload.

I use 1500-2000 per year of large/magnum rifle per year. Twice that number of small/magnum rifle per year.

I haven't shot my 6.5 this year at all, so zero this year. In a normal year, maybe 300-500 per year. I have almost 1000 large rifle primers right now, which will last me at least a couple years. I have a decent chunk of pistol primers also, which will hold me for a long time for 45 acp, which is the only pistol round I reload. Would like to get into 38/357 at some point.

How many barrels a year do you run through? Wish I had time to shoot that much.

I run 2k per year on average, luckily I was sitting 10k 210Ms so I will be OK for a while.

I took a hiatus from because of young kids so I've shot more in the 2020 than ever before. According to my log, shot about 735 rds of 308 alone, all reloads, and probably about a couple hundred other in small rifle. I plan on 2 shootings days at the end of the month so it can easily get close to 900.

Again, this is the most I ever shot because covid gave me the opportunity and the hiatus really made my trigger finger itchy. I'd like to continue this pace, if not over 1k per year, assuming the components eventually become more available.

I'm on my 9th this year. Didn't burn all of them out; I've only killed 3 so far this year due to actual round count. Some get chambered up in a new caliber, and cast aside for a new project etc.

I will get there, going to start attending some matches in 21'.

Up until this year, due to the great primer shortage, my estimate is that I shot around 10k primers in small rifle a year, roughly the same for small pistol.

Large Rifle & Large Pistol probably 1000 or so a year each.

Large Rifle Magnum & Small Pistol Magnum Probably 200-300 a year each.

Large rifle, not really that much. Probably in the 300-500 range. I'd like to shoot more if I had time. Small rifle, Probably double that.

Me Too! But I will say I load way more Small Rifle & Small Rifle Magnum primer's than I do Large.
