Yessr, he put that sign right there at camp on purpose so we all have to look at it at all times. Trying to provoke us. He even said so.

He inherited this ranch, and there are several other family members that are also owners but they are not around much or normally involved.

His Dad ran the place much differently, that all changed when he passed away. There used to be between 50 - 100 people that would show up from all over the Country for the dove opener. Everybody camping, cooking, and walking around sharing food and socializing. Folks came down for 30-35 years every year. This was tradition for decades. But now the boss man has managed to run off every single white person that used to come down when his Dad was alive. He made comments to some of them like "F*** Trump", and "F*** that WHITE POS". Really shocked everyone, none of those guys come down anymore. The annual bird hunt is a thing of the past after decades. I figured my day was coming.....like I told him, I meant this in good fun but if you don't want me at the ranch anymore over this then so be it.

Yup, those democrats can’t take what they dish out. I just love all the ones saying how Trump supporters are bad losers, yet they were the ones rioting, looting, and burning [censored] in 2016 when Trump won.

I'm assuming the guy isn't white based on what you mentioned and if thats the case he may be a closet racist and was looking for a reason to have a confrontation. If that's the case, if it wasnt that sign it would have been something else that would have set him off.

Don’t know that I’d want my kids to be around someone with that attitude/mindset anyhow. I’m sorry this happened but it may have been for the best. If the place holds that much sentimental value to your family, call and apologize. Let him know your intentions didn’t come across very well and see what his response is. I have heard families and friends being lost because of this election, I know how much is at stake with the election but is it worth lifelong relationships? Not to me. I just avoid those conversations with folks I know don’t agree with me, and if it does come up I’ll politely say I’d rather not discuss politics. As noted though, it seems like he was looking for a reason to have a confrontation.
