As of today, I'm not a police officer anymore. After 25 years I have retired. It was my honor to serve the citizens of Fort Worth and hopefully I made the city a better place through my efforts. The last 6 years were definitely the highlight of my career where I was assigned to the largest gang unit in Texas. I was the Gang Criminal Investigation Unit Sergeant, where we investigated gang involved violent personal crime. I had the unique experience of supervising federally commissioned Task Force Detectives/Officers, where we were able to file both state and federal cases.
