Bringing one DOWN, is IMO, far harder to do without destroying than putting it up. Tore up a pretty good tower in March trying to take it down. Too much pressure on the lower legs that were taking all of the weight and pressure. Seems the Gin Pole would have helped on the take-down as well.

Yep, just reverse the process!

we have put up several of these stands they are really easy 2 people can do it.turn the porch down on the trailer put a 4x4 across the trailer to support the box towards the top of the box.hook a winch or long chain to the top part of the base then just start pulling it up slow have a guide rope tied to the porch and to the trailer so it dont come over towards the truck.we have never had that happen we just do it to be safe.it can be pulled up with four wheelers or a truck.good luck those superior blinds are awsome will never hunt out of anything else.

+1 What fishindude says is the safest way to put one up or down.We have pulled them up with 4 wheeler winches and trucks. Pull from the top of the leg frame. The KEY IS TO HOLD BACK TENSION with an anchor rope or cable to keep it from tipping over. I usually put about 3 wraps with a heavy rope around the front of the trailer. Like others said secure the legs so they wont scoot when you start up.

Well this weekend I used Hawg's method, but didn't have time to build a gin pole. SO, I snagged my extension ladder and used it as my cantalever. Worked like a CHARM. We had this blind up in an hour and a half, thats including assembling the blind.

Robert did ya'll put guide wires/t-posts to secure the blind? Looks like it could be a little top heavy, but not sure if ya'll are in a windy area.

I agree. Going up is somewhat unnerving but easy. Coming down, I now always use an tripod "A" frame made from 16' 4x4's and a cable through the top area and attached to a vehicle to cotrol the decent, mostly the last 10 feet or so.

Aren't they all a little top heavy? LOL. We certainly put guide wires, four t-post stakes driven down 3 feet on each corner and then a auger anchor in the middle, underneath the blind. We got a little excessive because its west texas.

We bought that stand used. What funny is, we thought it was a 8 foot stand. When we bought it, half was laying in some brush. When we yanked the stand out of the brush with my truck, I though "wow, thats a lot taller than 8 foot". He can damn near see new mexico.
