This topic might become as hotly debated as breaking in a new barrel but here goes.
On your semi-auto handguns, do you oil or grease the slide?
TIA

only a tiny bit of oil on slide-frame mating surface. On my one 1911, I very lightly the barrel and bushing before assembly.
I'm a dude who likes long barrels!

Tranny fluid and bacon grease. Does your tranny fluid come from Oregon, and is it high fence?

Tranny fluid and bacon grease. Does your tranny fluid come from Oregon, and is it high fence? The finest comes from Trinidad, Colorado, and is entirely free range.

Dan Wesson says use ONLY this on their 1911's Duty Finish. He77, I use everything there is available, I'm a gun cleaner junkie. On a semi auto pistol, about every month, drop the magazine, rack the slide back ejecting the live round in the chamber. Then wipe off all old lube, de-grease it, then re-lube. Good to Go.

Whatever’s handy. If it won’t run on that, then I don’t need it.

Mobil 1 full synthetic on the slide rails if I'm cleaning at home. Whatever gun oil is available if I'm doing it at work.
