Took my best best buck ever opening season Kentucky. Mainframe 8 point that scored 177. I can’t wait to get this one back from the taxidermist to put on the wall.

to put this beast in perspective, the biggest true 8pt ever officiscored in Kentucky is 173 3/8. velvet score or not 177 puts this deer in very impressive company. and its in a state that has a history of world class 8 pts. just absolutely amazing. I can't stop looking at the pictures lol

little know fact, Kentucky reports they most B&C deer per square mile of any state in the country. The habitat along the Ohio, all the way from Appalachia to land between the lakes is just phenomenal. Even the areas around horse country that have been left unspoiled produce some studs. What part of the state was this taken in? From looking at the foliage its tough to tell but I've venture a guess of close to the Ohio state line?

I can't stop looking at the pictures lol Absolutely right for sure a 150" 8 point is a big, big deer. A 160" 8 is a giant and very, very few of that class are killed every year in TX.....just a handful. An 8 breaking 170" is RIDICULOUS!!!
