I've made these recommendations to others over the years:
.223 Remington (although my experience suggests the .222 has a slight accuracy edge).
.30-06 Gov't (but in truth a .270 Win or 7 Mauser would serve me just as well).
.375 H&H (the ONE cartridge to do it ALL...and do most of it well. I've taken Rio Grande turkey to Cape buffalo and a lot of stuff in between with mine. 108 years young and still a force to be reckoned with.)

I'd have to go 22LR, 308 Win, and 300 Win Mag. If 2 legged critters are in the decision, then 300 blk out gets a nod.  What is a 2 legged critter? I would go with 223 rem, 270 win, 300 win mag
