Here's what mine looks like. I've recommneded this bench on this forum and real life. i got the plans from the following website. The coolest part was how little wood wastage there was. In case anyone is wondering, in the first pic is a sharpie and one of those breakable mini box opening razors. I'm so father of the year most days. You can also see where my hornady press is behind the bigger baby. Because it's so cheap I just drill holes and do whatever to it.

Possibly the direction I’m moving. 60x40 shop with a 30x40 living quarters, and another 30x40 covered area of the back where the living quarters opens into a great patio area. I hate being indoors.

Oops, got off topic. Old picture that has evolved quiet a bit since then, but the table and boxes are the same. I’ve been fortunate to have a dedicated room for it and my “stuff”.

For sure exhaust fans sucking out hot air makes a bigger difference than blowing air or even blowing cool air.
My father/family ran dry cleaners for years when i was growing up, stereotypical I know. The back of most cleaners have large exhaust fan and some well designed places have ac vents located right where one stands at a workstation. We've had both systems go out at different times and the exhaust fan failure was significantly more noticeable.

Edit:
Paper towel holder, brilliant! Seems so obvious yet I never thought about it.

I can't even imagine not having paper towels in any of my work areas. Also, good lighting, pegboard and hangers, and in several of mine where I do painting, stains, or glue I have 18 ga. galvanized metal tops!!!

2x8’ bench, easy to assemble with 3 rails bolted to the 3 trestle legs. Made out of a couple yellow pine 2x8s with a 1 1/2” plywood top.

7o8, that is nice. Of the benches posted, I like that best.
up

Bowtechunter, if you have room for it, build something with about twice the shelf space you think you will use.

Thank you Mr. Bear! When I moved in the house from the garage I was told to build something more “presentable” than the bench I had made out of an old fire door. Of course that was before the shelves were filled up with stuff.

The best benches are the lab benches
Used in medical and or electronic applications
Very thick. Very heavy with light racks and
Storage

I have about 10 that I used for reloading
I have friends that work in those places
And they would save them for me when they
Throw them away

Recently I moved a few presses back into
My office and was able to secure a computer
Print stand ... free... works really well for a quickie
Loading station

The fans actually blow air in. I thought they were wired backwards but nope that's how they work

then you have intake fan instead of exhaust fan

question: does it help in the heat ?

Mine is a disaster area. When I built it, I was only loading 1 caliber, and it fit nicely. Now I load 4 different calibers and I didn't plan for expansion. Don't be like Mike.
