In-laws live about 1/4 mile from us and they have a few mallards on one of their ponds, but this Coyote is coming from a completely different direction. Also looking at the video again (full screen) it just doesn't look like duck to me. I'll try to post a short clip of the video (larger but grainier) in awhile.

After blowing it up, I don't think duck any more. Thought I saw a bill hanging down, but after looking at this frame it looks more like the end of whatever appendage that is just got the fur stripped.

OK, so I don't know if this will help or just makes things more confusing.

I recorded a short clip of the video (on my phone) that is enlarged and lightened some. It is very grainy and degraded however, sorry.

I can't completely rule out that the hanging part could be a 'tail' but I don't think it is. The image is clearer on my computer than what I can provide here.

The 'head' of some fowl....maybe, but it seems out of proportion. I'm leaning toward it just being a piece of hide....but honestly can't say for certain.

It is dark in color....that much is clear.

Whatever it is....that coyote got a good chunk of it and should have a full belly. Pretty poor looking Coyote at that. Typically what we see are large and well fed compared to what you see in other parts of the State.

Looks like he's practicing up as a retriever....looks like one of the Dokken Dead Fowl dummies.

I suppose 'duck' could be a possibility. Not turkey though, not a wild one anyway, we just don't have them here at all.

There are poultry/chicken houses around...but they are all domestic 'broilers' (pure white).

Of course, many folks have chickens (for eggs) on their property...but this doesn't look like a chicken to me.

I've seen coyotes carrying good sized fowl and they aren't able to do it as neatly as appears in the video. Heck even a good retriever would have a hard time keeping a wing from hanging down. Possible...yes, but a hard sell to me.
