Headed that way tomorrow for insurance claims. Anyone in the area to give me an idea what is going on? Also looking for a place to stay . All hotels I’ve called are booked. Is it that bad of damage or are they just playing the game?

I know they’ve got a tremendous amount of rain and many rounds of radar based tornado warnings yesterday and today. Not sure what damage might have been done by those storms.

Other than the early days of Covid, hotels are constantly booked in the Valley. We try to stay a day or two ahead. Embassy Suites in McAllan is great, but has never really seen a slow day.

Usually you can get a room at Best Western in Edinburg or the Echo Hotel in Edinburg. Decent access to 277 and then to 83.
Ref damage: Power outages and wind damage mostly from what daughter says.
