Wife says I have to many hobbies and not enough time.

Riding horses, roping, fishing, raising animals (cattle/goats), taking the SXS to off road parks, shooting on the front porch (everyday), growing garden/orchard, tinkering with old diesel project truck, beekeeping

Cooking, gardening, and reading. More reading as I get older.

#2 would be a tossup between flint knapping and photography.

I'm pretty good at drinking beer.

Sometimes it's hard being me! But somebody has to do it.

Besides hunting and fishing I don't think I have a real "hobby." I'm retiring around the end of the year so I had better think about this more!

A Democracy is when two wolves and a lamb vote on the dinner menu. That is why this country was specifically not designed as a Democracy. We are a Constitutional Republic.

Cooking indoors and out, reloading/shooting though i dont get to spend near the time at it id like, tinkering with stuff. I like to figure out how to do stuff myself. For me it is fun, educational, makes you a better person, and saves me some money.

I forgot to mention that mowing my yard relaxes me. Did a little this afternoon.

I fish way more than I hunt, but my second passion is aviation. I love flying planes and seeing air shows. Antique tractors run a close race as well. I quit wrenching for a living years ago when I burned out on it, then I started missing it six or seven years later. I got into these and now I enjoy wrenching again. I still will make a repair for someone on a dozer or some other heavy equipment or farm tractor, but I now can decide if I want to do it, and just say no if I don't want to do it.

Life is great. My biggest concern is what book to download next.

It’s generally classic trucks, but having a 1972 Camaro now I guess it’s classic cars instead. Lately though, as always, I have been busting my [censored] landscaping the backyard. I love plants and tend to buy them without a place to put them, that opens another can of worms

I love coin collecting. Wheat pennies are my favorite, Well maybe Indian head, maybe buffalo nickels, could be the park quarters, no, the state quarters. Heck, I love them all. I get the coins out of several places that have wishing well type water features. You would be amazed what people throw in there. They obviously have no idea of the value of their change.

I also love building with wood. I just finished a huge pergola, 16x44, at one end of my pool. I love using old techniques to move and handle the heavy stuff. I do it all solo and it is very relaxing figuring out how to hoist and hold large beams and such with old fashioned techniques.

I also love training my dogs. There is very little like having an almost “telepathic “ relationship with a good dog. It’s a beautiful thing.
