'72 blue Nova with mags bought for $200 in 1983, and had to tow it home - rings were so shot on the stock 283 - I could run it about a week before plugs fouled; maybe a month once I put oil-foulers on it. But I had bigger plans: Finally dropped a 350 in it (planned) with just a Holly 2bbl 500cfm - boy it ran! - no air conditioning though looked just like this (but was rusting out from the underside - living on S.TX coast )

My first car if you can call it that was a 1949 Ford shoebox with no floors (I put down plywood). Got it in1963 and paid another kid $15.00 for it. Drove it all over South Jersey with no license or tags. Salt air was eating it alive and eventually it went to scrap where I got $5.00 back. I bought my first new car in 1967 for $1680.00 out the door (Delaware) - a 1967 Volkswagen bug. What a great little car!!!
Only at the end do you realize the power of the Dark Side.
