yep, think about it...when you are on the way there, when do you start seeing them on the side of the HW.

not until 95. i guess i just never really thought about it we have so many out there.

last deer season i had a group of 16(no bs) come to my feeder right before it was set to go off. there was no corn under it and they started to leave and move off into the brush about thirty yards away. right about then the feeder goes off and here they come in a dead sprint for my feeder before its even done throwing. i figured the feeder would scare them all of then they'd prolly ease there way back to it but damn was i wrong.

see a few in Angelina co, but that may be 4 or 5/yr on the stretch that runs from Diboll to Zavalla (FM1818).

I hunt around Diboll and have never seen a Turkey in that area, I have seen a few west of Moscow, Tx. Deer hunting can be tough in East Texas, mosquitos are BAD during bow season.

I've seen a lot of turkey off of 63 down on the old Concord Church road down where Team Hillbilly lives.

I was on a lease on the other side of 69 off of Sandy Creek down by the Sulpfur Springs Church and we started seeing turkey on it last year. They are everywhere now.

You can hunt the National Forest down there and if you do your scouting, you will find the turkey. Anywhere around the lake or on the creeks you will find them.

Good ole 1818. I have probably driven that road about 20,000 times. Hell of a road to drive on when you have been drinking (high school days in 78-79, young, dumb and stupid) especially between 58 and Diboll.

lol, they don't call it dead mans curve for no reason... I've driven it many of times. was on renfro for a while, been hunting on tower club with my dad ever since I can remember...and dated a girl for the longest that lived back behind the beulah store so I spend a lot of time driving that raod dodging cows, deer, hogs....troopers.
