I managed the Showdown 77-89 and then owned a place called Devereaux's from 89-91

I went the showdown a few times in the early-mid 80’s. I remember the name Devereaux’s, but do t recall where it was. I know I frequented the place.

El Camino in Tulia Tx., famous for chile rellenos. They have been featured in Texas Monthly

Café Del Rio is a favorite in Lufkin. Los Jarritos in Huntington or Diboll are good too.

Went to Mi Tierra in S.A. yesterday for breakfast. Had to go in with a mask (TG for the bandana in the P/U), but it was well worth it. Chilaquilles cum Puerco was plain near someone's attempt and near success at perfection.

Been wondering the same thing. Pretty hard to eat through a mask.

I saw a video of a woman who figured out how.

The mask was required for entry. I had a bandana and wifeypoo rocked a mask. We took each off at the table. It really wasn't much of an inconvenience.

Coming back from Lake Travis on Friday, stopped at Pluckers with my Shotsie. They took our temperature before admitting us. that didn't bother me either.
