I was driving with my wife yesterday and I asked her if she would rather run out of food or fuel for the vehicles.
Her response was certainly running out of food was her biggest concern by far. Makes sense to me.
When she asked me, I responded that I would certainly rather run out of food, as long as I had fuel for the truck I could get food, improvise and make things happen.
I wonder is this the same response in your house, is it just the difference between a man and a woman.
This was pertaining to just a few weeks of bad times not forever.

I mean at that point id have to know if we were combating full blow zombie apocalypse or if there was just a fuel or food shortage. Its so far off in la la land I don't think it deserves the thought to develop and honest answer.

But why? If you had the food in the first place you wouldn't have to go get it or make anything happen. IF people run out of food and are starving, they will kill and steal to feed themselves and their families. IF people run out of fuel but have food then they just walk to where they need to go or stay home.

I can get fuel at work and hogs in the backyard. No worries.

Have both, but I would choose food first.

There is a convenient store/gas pump/ restaurant on the east side of the highway in Poth.

Where the fire, flood, tornado, or riot isn't...I have lots of places I can go...vast majority rural or remote....

I've got all the pigs and spring water I need 10 minutes from the house....I can get to food....and shelter....
