OP HOF Extreme Tracker Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 4,265 North Central, Tx	A MRI revealed a 2.5 centimeter tumor behind the pituitary gland in my wife. We have our first appointment with the neurosurgeon the Friday morning. Our initial research shows these things are benign 70% of the time. I'm sure there are some that have experience with this . Lay your knowledge on me. Tell me what you think I need to know and what I can expect. And, prayers are requested. Searching the world over for the perfect Chile Relleno.

I went to MD Anderson in Houston, and strongly suggest that your wife be treated there. This sort of surgery, per my Neurosurgeon, has gotten far more advanced since I was in, so that’s a huge plus for your wife. They couldn’t get all of mine, and that thought scares me sometimes. The Doc said that if roses start smelling like dog sh__, call him. She’s going to be scared, unless she’s a lot tougher than I was, so stay close by and offer all possible support. If you are going to worry and stress, don’t do it in front of her. Again...MD Anderson...it’s the pro shop for this sort of thing. I firmly believe that if I had not gone there, I’d have been dead now for 40 years and you guys would have missed out on my sparkling wit. She is in my thoughts and prayers. Not my monkeys, not my circus...
