Real or Fake( artificial) Christmas trees?
We used to buy them from Wal-Mart but they're so expensive, the last 2 years we've cut a red cedar.
8Ft tall.

This ain't what I thought this'd be about.

I fully support fake and real... as long as I get to move them around as I see fit.

I also like both.

Tree is fake around here but atleast she only put one up this year. Usually there are 3. I grew up with real trees but they just make suck a damn mess

Cut my own growing up. May do neither this year.

I like the real deal, but I wouldn't complain about fakes.

Fake for me, Ive seen far to many close calls with real while growing up in New England where we would go to the farms and cut our own. Plus the mess they make is awful and some of the fakes have fiberoptic lights so I dont have to mess with wrapping strings of lights around the tree anymore.

Fake or real, either way is okay.

We have a fake tree.
It is about 2ft in diameter and 3ft tall, it is decorated and lighted, and it sets right on an end table. We have a box that is 2ft x 3ft and the tree goes right in after Christmas. No lights to take off, no decorations to box up. It is less than a five minute project to set up or put away.

I grew up with real Christmas trees, usually cedar cut in the woods. At some point in my late 20'3 or early 30's, my allergies really started to get me. Since then, we have used a nice fake tree. Its a really nice one and looks pretty real.

Well, I guess you could try motor boat'n trees.

My younger brother was allergic and my uncle burnt down my Grandma’s house with real ones. Now we have a fake palm tree looking setup.

My wife has a holiday fetish.

She goes overboard on every Holiday....and Christmas is her grand finale. We had a 14-16’ tree at the last house that she ordered from North Carolina every year. Took 3 guys to move it in the house. Had to chainsaw it into 3 pieces to get it out.

When we moved she relented that fake trees were easier but also less messy and easy to move about and acquire.

I currently have 7 trees scattered about my house, 2 in the dining room, two in the master bedroom, one in the kitchen and two on each side of the fireplace.

Mentioned this thread to her and she reminded me about the one on the front porch and the one on the back porch

We get real every year. I've tried for years to convince my wife to try an artificial tree, but she ain't having it. Maybe one of these days.
